- Richard and Ellen Sandor donate $7.5 M to U of C Richard and Ellen Sandor donated the bulk of a $10 million gift to the University of Chicago Law School for an endowment in law and economics.
- Schweitzers donate $1 million to Camp Grizzly Edmund and Beatriz Schweitzer (III) donated $1 million to Camp Grizzly, which is run by the Inland Northwest Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
