- Mom hit by car while loading child onto school bus A mom who was loading her 8-year-old daughter onto the bus saw the car coming and managed to push her child out of harms way before she was hit.
- Bicyclist called hero for saving 12-year-old in pond in Hanover A 58-year-old man bicycling by a pond in Hanover heard a girl who had fallen through the ice calling for help and went into the frigid water to save her.
- Villager proves Good Samaritan for Delhi trader When the robbers threw him out of the vehicle after the shooting, Tekchand rescued him and informed the police.
- Officer, Good Samaritan Pull Woman from Burning Car A Good Samaritan and a Plainville police officer pulled a woman from a burning car just before a small explosion.
- Good Samaritans, Several Officers Pulled Man From Vehicle When police arrived on scene, a good samaritan – Earl Wickline of Londonderry, was attempting to knockdown the fire with an extinguisher he had retrieved from a resident of the neighborhood. Another good samaritan, Apryl Norris of Londonderry, was also assisting at the scene.
- Helen is 'my lifesaver' Helen Jahr, of Austin, received the American Red Cross Lifesaving Certificate of Merit Award for her quick thinking that saved the life of Lynn Cunningham.
