Kindness Captured

A Positive News reader spied something, that I want to share.
A prior post (here) tells of a local tradition where found mittens, gloves, hats or scarves are placed on the nearest snow-stake. This way it doesn't get buried in the snowfall, and the owner can find it retracing their steps.
A Good Samaritan took this tradition one step further. A silver ring with semi-precious stone was found at an intersection. In hopes that the owner would retrace her steps, the Good Samaritan had carefully placed the ring atop the fixture that holds the crosswalk signal button.
My reader spied it on a recent walk and wanted to share the story, adding that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference in someone's life.
If you have similar stories, I would love to share them. My email is JesusSister2011@hotmail.com.
